The person working the passport control told us to go to a secondary inspection where they looked at the paperwork and in ten minutes everything was done after having fingerprints taken. All in all it was a pretty easy POE, but it might have helped that the US Citizen Spouse was with the immigrant during the POE.	2012-09-07

I mentioned to the officer that i was entering on a K1 visa and that i had an envelope to hand to an immigration official. He sent me to another room where i handed over my envelope and passport then i was told to take a seat. I waited for almost an hour as the room was full. Although there was a long wait the process after my name was called was really easy. The man asked me if i understood that i had to marry within 90 days.
