USCIS denied the first packet for incorrect payment; it took over a week for us to receive the denial notice in the mail. We had sent a credit card to auth for the total amount rather than individual auths for the form and the biometrics fee. Sent two checks in the second packet. NOA1 extends the Permanent Resident Card for 48 months from expiration. Biometrics reused. Online account has a documents section that shows the materials that USCIS scanned in from our packet. We sent a 110 page packet; only half of it showed scanned. We uploaded the other half to ensure that USCIS had it. |
