Anyways, the visa was granted. Next morning the letter pack arrived with a esaled envelope, USCIS paperworks and her Japanese passport with a special visa sticker on one of the pages. The final interview itself, which is necessary to receive the visa, was only 7-8 minutes long! After the interview, the interviewer who was really friendly told us verbally that "I don't see any problem about 2 of you. Congratulations." Quite a bit shorter than the 45-60 min we expected. The interview was not in a separate and isolated "interrogation room" as I expected, but was done at the bank teller-styled layout with all the other people around us. FYI; We were asked simple questions below; How did we meet? When did we get married? How have we contacted each other during we live apart from each other. My husband's occupation. It was really pleasant and smooth. 2018-06-02
