Spoke with another couple who also had a 10:30 appointment and they showed up at 9. Took roughly 1 hour to get to talk to the first window (review docs and finger prints) and then another 45 min before getting to the final interview portion. He asked basic questions like our relationship history, what we do for work, have I ever been arrested, etc. All in all took 2 hours. They say you can't bring cell phones but they have cubbies at the security point where you enter where they will store electronics/food for you while you are inside. | 2018-06-21

Up until Jan 2016 my case was on "Ready" on the CEAC site. After the second interview it showed to be in "AP". My police check was expiring on Feb 16th, 2016. In the interview they said I would get approved on the friday before. They apparently meant that quite literally. | 2016-02-17

We didn't get any of our mail from USCIS or the NVC welcome letter. We didn't get any emails despite filing the paperwork for it. We had to call them to get any updates and as a result we do not have specific dates for much of that portion :( The gap between documents arriving at NVC and fees etc being paid was a decision on our own part to pause the proceedings temporarily, and do not reflect the actual processing time. When documents did get submitted, they were sent for e-processing, not mailed. | 2016-12-22
