The interview was scheduled for 10:30 a.m. She arrived at 8:30 and stood in line with other appointments in order of their scheduled times. She was asked to come to the window at 10:00 am. Gave paperwork to the first person at the window, spoke in Thai (about a 20 min exchange). Afterward went inside sat inside while two interviewees concluded their interviews. At 10:50 am called into the interview desk (one of four desks divided by panels). Kind and smiling male interviewer. Asked if can speak English -yes. Ask questions in English - How did you meet your fiancé? When did you meet your fiancé? Did your fiancé come to Thailand? Where does your fiancé live? Where does fiancé work? (some small talk) Okay, good luck. You will receive your Visa in 7-10 days.

Interview was scheduled for 7:30 a.m. We arrived at 7 and they let her right in. She was the second one called and said the interviewer was a nice old man. 4 questions in Thai and than said she would have visa within 2 weeks and good luck! I was so nervous i just stood outside for the 2 hours lol. Glad this part is finished!

She only got asked one question "Where does your Fiance live? She said Minnesota. He said you will have your passport back in a week and do you have a big coat? She told him Yes.

She was there for two hours in total time.

Consular Officer was very nice. Only asked 3 questions and the interview lasted about 5 minutes. It concluded with him saying “visa is approved”. Very positive experience.

Easy process with only three questions asked during interview related to the time the fiancée spent living in US as an au pair.
