Everyone was extremely sweet and helpful! One of my documents was "outdated", and they gave me a slip for me to easily go out and print a more recent version of the document. I was easily able to go back in and continue my process. The interviewers all seemed really kind and engaging, and I had a good conversation with my interviewer. They prefer you to speak in English, as far as I've noticed. It seems as of April, at least, they send all "approvable" K-1 visas into Administrive Processing due to checking out social media presences. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience!

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the officers were all very kind. Even when some applicants were having a hard time answering questions due to nerves, or language barriers, they were met with understanding and a helpful attitude by the officers at the interview windows. Everything was clearly organized and there was no chaos inside. The officer that conducted my interview was also friendly and kind. Things went smoothly and much quicker than I had expected.

My fiancé' stated that the consular officer was super nice. The interview was a two part. They first take all your evidence and all supporting documents, then once they have been reviewed, then you have an oral interview.

Interview was scheduled for 830am -- it took all in all about 2.5 hours for it to be finished. There was a pretty long wait. They had a printer there in case there were documents that you forgot to bring and could print out really quick. No electronics at all are allowed inside so make sure you leave it at the hotel or in your car. The interview itself was really chill. I chose to do it in english. Interviewer was really laid back and we had a good connection. He was making jokes and we just talked basically. When it finished I was given form 221g because a form was missing from my CEAC page, I uploaded it right after the interview and my case was then approved a day later.
