Medical Exam: This was the hardest and probably most confusing part of the whole process to be honest. There is a general lack of information about what to expect so I will write our process. There is only one doctor in all of Chile who can complete this. Considering how long Chile is, it is quite a pain. The interview was very straightforward and quick, by far the least stressful process of the entire visa journey for us. There was about a 3 hour wait at the embassy prior to being called, but that was the only "hiccup" if you can call it that.

Our attorney instructed him not to bring his cell phone. But upon arrival he was told it is permitted; they simply hold the phone at the front desk until you depart.

He waited with four other K-1 applicants. He was seen fairly quickly and the process was fast. He was asked when we started dating, how often we had seen each other, when we became engaged. No challenging or difficult questions.

He had a Denial of Entry on his account from April 2019 when he came to visit me. CBP agents told him he couldn't do his online work while in the US while using ESTA. So he was sent back to Chile. The consulate employee asked him about it. He explained that he was denied entry because he works online and didn't know that was... read complete review
