Administrative Processing after interview

Hi all,

Just a quick question. Our interview result was approved but the status changed to Administrative Processing today. Does it go to Administrative Processing before changing to Approved? They already had all our information including all the medical information and we were told everything was there so not sure why it went to Administrative Processing.

I-129F Sent: July 5th 2017  

I-129F NOA2: January 19th 2018

Interview date: March 8th 2018 - Result is APPROVED!!! 

POE USA: April 23rd 2018

Marriage: May 18th 2018

AOS NOA1: May 30th 2018

AOS Biometrics: June 21st 2018

EAD Received Date: June 07 2018

EAD NOA1: June 13th 2018

EAD Biometrics: July 6th 2018

Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview as of October 11th 2018

Everyone goes through AP. Sometimes it takes couple days, sometimes weeks or months if they have to do more background checks and stuff. If you didn't have any huge red flags you should get your visa soon.

29.11.2013 - NoA1

06.02.2014 - NoA2

01.04.2014 - Interview. 

AoS

03.2015 - AoS started.

09.2015 - Green Card received.  

RoC

24.07.2017 - NoA1.

01.08.2018 - RoC approved.

It should be fine, as long they took your passport and didnt give you a slip for 221g,

 

I had my interview last March 8, consul told me il get my visa in a week, was surpised when my status was changed to Admin Processing.

 

The day after it was changed to "issued"

 

I just received my passport now with Visa Stamp.
