Didn't Request Expedited NVC, But Got It?? Now What??

Hey Guys,

Got two emails from the NVC today. One saying that they received our I-129F. Great!! We now have our case number. But, immediately following that, I got another email saying that: "The U.S. Embassy in SYDNEY, ASTL approved your request for expedited processing of your immigrant visa application." I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth but, I didn't apply for expedited processing. What does that mean?? Are we on a faster track now? I am in the process of getting all of my I-134 info ready to send to my fiance but, will she need it sooner now??

There  seems to have been a few others who recently had the same thing happen with SYD....unrequested expedite   ..just prepare your documents as quickly as you can, but slowly enough to ensure accuracy and completeness., You can request a later interview date if you arent ready when you are advised of the date.

Happened with me as well, clearest answer I could get was that it's because the cases are electronic. It still takes some time from NVC to interview. Feel free to check out my timeline and ask me any questions, since I just got through with the interview stage and everything is still pretty fresh.
