I was told it is must to obtain an Israeli Police Certificate for Palestinians interviewing in other countries.

Are they really required to submit Israeli Police Certificate? If YES , then WHY ?

Any had this experience before?

Scroll down and look for the police certificate tab: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Supporting_documents.html

The table is easy for you to figure out which country you have to obtain a police certificate from.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Thank you :)

It looks like Palestinians should apply for an Israeli Certificate regardless the fact Palestinians reside in "West Bank" under the supervision of "Palestinian National Authority" not the "Israeli Authority" , thus they are required to obtain certificates from both Israeli Police and Palestinian Police.!!
