I filed super late for a DACA renewal in April 2017. Per my lawyer I would not need to renew because he was certain an I-131 petition would be approved. Long story short DACA expired May 19, 2017.

*DACA renewal was received: April 12, 2017

* July 18, 2017: Still waiting.....:(

Anyone else in a similar situation? Please comment...

Made a service request a month ago, just so they could tell me this:

The status of this service request is:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show that your case is currently pending adjudication. However, we have had to perform additional reviews on your case, and this has caused a longer processing time.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

Anyone else in the same situation?

 Hi I have a question for you. I have a similar situation and I'm still waiting. I'm just wondering if you have an update on your DACA.  Thnak you.

Hi Fernie,

Unfortunately, I have yet to hear from them. No status update either. But I did submit a request to CIS Imbudsman you can do that on the USCIS website.

Thats great man, congratulations.

i have a few questions if you dont mind.

How much more time did you wait for your approval, after your permit expired,

And did you send your renewal after the recommended time? is that why its late to receive your renewal?

how much longer did you wait after the request to USCIS?

How much more time did you wait for your approval, after your permit expired?

* 86 long days

And did you send your renewal after the recommended time?

* Yup 45 days before it was to expire

Is that why its late to receive your renewal?

*According to USCIS its within normal timeframe

How much longer did you wait after the request to USCIS?

*3 days after I made an inquire

Total processing time was 128 days for card to processed. Now I'm just waiting on snail mail to deliver.
