Hi, You have some very valuable information here. Thank you for providing this info. 

Currently I am at NVC process and just today I received a checklist from NVC for my wife's BC, I sent them the one I have attached here but they wanted a copy of the original and not this one in English. (I am not sure what is wrong with this one I submitted to them??). 

 

My wife has original BC but its missing her name so I think I will need to send copy of the original one with secondary evidences like school leaving and affidavits from her parents. 

 

My last question to you is that my wife also changed her name on passport after our marriage so does she need to obtain Government Gazette? I didn't see anyone asking for this document, neither USCIS nor NVC. btw how do you obtain government gazette? 

 

Will appreciate any inputs.

Guys does anyone has gone through under administrative processing at nvc.when i called and asked is my case still with nvc or left for consulate.He said its under administrative processing.Anyone familiar with this?

Did you get a case close? If Yes what date, and what was your scan date?

TODAY MY CASE WAS RECIVED ON 20 MARCH,2018 AT NVC. N TODAY WHEN I CALLED TO NVC THEY HAD SAID THAT OUR CASE NO (bmb NO) IS ASSIGNED AND SOON U WILL GET MAIL.

SO FOR FILLED UP DS 260 FORM SHOULD I WAIT FOR MAIL OR I CAN FILEED UP BEFORE ALSO.?? WHAT IS THE NEXT PROCEDURE??

If passport is less than a year old did any of you need to bring proof of address for PCC? We’re having issues with landlords dragging their feet about updating rent agreement and that’s all my hubby has with address proof. Or can you submit an explanation of why it’s not available and upload it as soon as he does get it? We’ve been waiting since April for this rent agreement to be taken care of just so he’s got address proof for PCC.

@Siddsgal  Hi. I made PCC last month with the help of Rent agreement as address proof. The process went smooth. For your information, Rent agreement doesn't take much time. It took only 3 days to get the agreement.
