Hi Everyone,

I just have some questions about the adjustment of status,

1. Do i need a certified copy of my marriage liscense or will a photocopy work to send with my i485 packet ( i think i know the answer to my own question but cant hurt to ask)
2. Do i need to get my ssn BEFORE i file for i485 & I-765 or do i get it after?
3. I only have the electronic print out of my i-94 that i got from https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/recent-search, and my passport stamp. Will this suffice ?

Any other tips or pointers for AOS, as i am slightly freaking out.
Thanks in advance

1. Send in a certified copy of your marriage license if you can

2. Definitely get it before you send out the package. (You will need SSN if you want to open up bank account, Drivers license...etc)

3. Yes that would be fine.

Good luck!

You need to send a certified copy of the marriage license. As to the SSN, if you can still get it then get it but if you have less than two weeks left on your 90 days from the K1, then you have to wait for either the EAD/AP or GC.  Lastly, the printout of the I94 is fine.

Good Luck!
