Hello. A female friend came with a visa, which already expired. She got married when to the interview and the guy got nervous and said that the marriage was fake. They confessed that the marriage was fake and they did nothing to them not a ticket and she is planning on getting married again to go thru the same process with a different guy? Is this possible? How come immigration  department does not deport her or do something else?

Well hopefully it was put on record as to her already trying to adjust status with a 'fake' marriage.

 

If she tries again to adjust, she most likely, and hopefully will get denied.

 

As to deportation, they are not going to just go track her down and deport her... but with the change of powers in the US, she probably should start watching her back.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

10 million in line ahead of her and she is not a priority.
