Still waiting for Green Card

Hello Guys

Has anyone receive his or her green card via mail lately?. it been 2months now since my POE and i paid the green card fee through Elis since April 25 before my POE. I checked online and the status still saying OPTIMIZED and status details says in process. Can anyone confirm if this is how slow the process is or has any one receive their GC within this period. Thanks

Did you file for i-485? It generally takes a year to get green card if you had an interview outside the United States. If you get another interview scheduled here in the US, it'll be within a week assuming you are approved.

No i dont need to file i-485 because am married already with my spouse and am on a cr1 visa. i dont need to do AOS. And yes my interview was outside of usa

I check my wife status today thru ELIS and it stated card was produce. Using the receipt number, I check the case status at USCIS website and I was able to track it thru the USPS. It stated that it should be deliver today

My wife visa is also a cr-1 visa. her POE was june 9th and I paid the fee in may I forgot exactly what date. Hopefully you will get your soon

I do not think the above poster was correct in saying it will take a year maybe for a K-1 visa but not for a cr-1 visa

Thanks j&ana, i called uscis and the person told me that the card has been sent in for production but there is no sign he can see if it has been sent out for shipment to the recipient and he said he will log in asking them what is the status of the card. so now i check with the receipt number in uscis website just as J&ANA said. it says On June 2, 2015, we began producing your new card. so now it been more than a month now and still waiting. i will believe it will come in the mail anytime from now
