Religion aside. It didn't read as heartfelt to me. He was just going through the motions.

That's the same read I got from it as well.

I kind of wish he got life without parole instead of death so the families won't have to relive this every time he files an appeal and the taxpayers won't have to foot the bill.

There was no way this dude was going to get life in prison. I wanted the same outcome as well.

in my book, it doesn't have to be heartfelt. he's dead anyway. better to hear empty apologies than the typical 'they deserved it, their families deserved it, blah blah'

Is that the hardcover or paperback edition?

FYI. Victims in the courtroom thought it was a very insincere apology.

I look back at so many terror plots in the USA and outside USA that has killed innocent American Citizens and so many times the person or persons whom committed these acts are Muslims

Are there not terrorist plots by American citizens to kill other Americans?

I am just thinking about the 911 attacks, the recent attack in Garland, etc

Here you list to chew on and get back with me and tell me why this religion is so violent

How does one apologize for such horrific acts? Still he didn't use his chance to apologize to instead justify his actions in the name of Jihad and as the right things to do in defense of Islam against the dirty unbelievers.

With over a million Muslims in this country what more do you need in order to understand Radical Muslims are truly a tiny minority who don't share the same beliefs? The sheer scarcity of terrorist attacks on US soil since 911 should indicate that to even the thickest dullard.

So, 6.67 million Muslims in this country, who don't even make the list when it comes to violence, and you asking why Muslims are so violent?

More people are killed by everything under the sun rather than "Muslim" terrorists, but you want to paint Islam is being violent?

Tell me why gun owners that kill their families and then themselves are so violent? Or criminals that just shoot into crowds? Or schools? Or movie theaters?

My earlier number was well shy of the actual number of Muslims in the US. Oops!

I am not painting Islam as being violent, they have done it themselves.

Start at the 911, Islams.

And the messed up part, Is as a visitor to Philippines I stay in Mindanao region, Well guess what. They have ABU Sayaff which is a Al Queada faction and they are muslim.

You have to worry about going to the wrong place as a American and there are many cites in Southern Philippines that would be a deathtrap for an American to walk into.

So I have a bad taste in my mouth for these clowns....
