Affidavit of Support, Form I-134 = Was not asked/requested?!

My fiance just finished her k1 visa interview & she was approved by her Consular Officer, & was told to wait for her k1 visa to be delivered in 2-3 weeks.

However, I'm perplexed as to why the US Embassy in Manila, Philippines did not asked, nor requested the form I-134, Affidavit of Support, 30 pages, during the entire process when it was available?! Will this create any issue(s)? Delays?

Note: She was not given a 221g document.

Thank you for your input to ease my perplexity.

Congrats.

NO it should not cause any issues. Some ask for it some not. If she did not have it they would have asked for it ( Grin) You have a start for the 864 which ins needed for the AOS stage. You are on your way.

Nope- you're good to go. Sometimes the CO doesn't ask for the I-134.

For the last 4 months or so the US Embassy has not been asking for I-134 for K1's for most applicants.

I see the trend is continues....
