im on the same boat as you..interview last april 13...CO told me everything are fine they will just wait for my medical.they didnt gave any 221g paper (i undergone Personal Evaluation because of my annuled marriage from my first husband so SLEC will be the one to forward my medical result) after my interview my CEAC status became AP...i called SLEC april 14 they told me they forwarded my medical yesterday..same day of my interview. since then up to now my status is under AP..status update date never change. and also ustraveldocs after my interview says passport inside embassy ..well something like that..then after three days it came to "document delivery information". i called and they also put my case escalated..that was a month ago. until now no update...66 days waiting

please update us when anything goodnews happened at your side.

Your case was escalated a month ago and they never replied? Wow. They haven't replied to my call from last week, so I should probably not expect mine to happen soon either lol. We are probably number 234,589 on the "escalated" cases list. Don't worry, they'll respond to us in a few years . I should try calling them to ask if they can escalate my escalated status.. like a super escalated level.

may i know whos the beneficiary on her annulment? did she undergo Personal Evaluation? coz i read about a girl name Annalyn here in visajourney who undergone Personal evaluation because shes the beneficiary of her annulment ( shes the psychological incapacity like mine) and she was also put in AP after her interview and also was asked for her NBI with AKA. status date update never change for 2 months. after 60 days case status went to READY, the nest day back to AP again then ISSUED.

im just asking if your wife is the beneficiary because i think thats the pattern. i just hope because im on my 60 days. lol

Don't give me false hope! I've already found my happy place near the edge of i-give-up-land lol.

My fiance was the petitioner for her annulment, psychological incapacity also, and I don't think she went through a Personal Evaluation, so I'm not sure if it'll be the same, but who knows.

Slow down. There is nothing more you can do as it is now in the hands of the Embassy staff. You just have to wait. It's not worth getting all discombobulated. They are working hard to get yours and 6,000 other visa's out the door and on their way to those who are waiting. Your in the queue so that's a good thing. You'll see something soon I am sure.

I got an immigration lawyer too, but likewise he was absolutely useless, probably the biggest waste of money and worst decision of my life. I hired him because I had some specific concerns about my fiance's annulment and hoped that he could make sure there were no red flags. However, after I made my payment, he became extremely hard to contact. He was very careless, often had misspellings, and often entered the wrong data. In fact, I'm the one who had to fill out everything and double check anything that he did. I'm not even sure if he checked the annulment papers (what I hired him for), after 1+ weeks of nagging for a reply, he finally replies with a short "everything is ok". I often questioned whether he was a real lawyer..

Anyway, sorry for the rant. Moral of the story is that, unless you're in a really complicated situation with lots of red flags or something, I don't think you need a lawyer. I have gotten so much information and valuable advice, on multiple occasions, from the people and especially veterans of this forum, and for that I am extremely grateful. If it were not for VJ, I would've been so lost.

I'm surprised your lawyer is the one who receives the letters, did you not include a G-1145 along with your I-129F application? I received the same papers that my lawyer received, usually 1-2 days before he even forwards me a copy, again showing how useless he was lol.

this is really funny thing. you came from Texas also. maybe we have the same lawyer.hahaha just joke.I don't know what papers my husband gave to him coz he's the one who gathered them and gave to the lawyer:-) except the papers of my part which I fedexed to him .do you know once he replied to my email, he called my husband other which really pissed me.a caused a fight between me and my husband. and the 1864 form 3 mos delayed of my papers coz he forgot to put my name on it. I told my husband not to hire a lawyer coz my 2 sisters went to US.without any problems and they didn't have any lawyer, but in terms of me he always want quick and don't mind money according to him. can't blame him took us 8 years before I will migrate, coz when my parents died, were both afraid that my kids will go to the wrong path without a parental guidance. by the way I was there in US.with a b2 visa. when I met him.my sisters didn't have this problem before with nbi aka.my eldest sister change her name coz different in her birth certificate. that's why they are shocked when I told them that I'm on ap coz of nbi aka.so frustrating, what's our fault, being annulled is not crime right. I read here mostly when its only nbi its issued after less than a month.we will just pray, that we will

get good news if not this week, this month.

"he always want quick and don't mind money"... I wonder if many petitioners feel this way. I'm a victim of that feeling too. Our impatience drives us crazy so we're willing to do anything to make things go faster at any cost. Honestly if I didn't hire a lawyer, I would've been able to send my I-129F 1 month earlier. When he finally got all the info he needed, he went on a business trip to Germany for 2 weeks and forgot to send my I-129F package before he left lol.

I've learned from experience and from repeated arguments with my fiance that sometimes the more you try to force things to happen, the longer things will take. You just have to let things happen naturally, learn to be patient, and pray.

it's really good being here in vj. reading and getting ideas here.since Feb.I opened this site, coz there's so many lessons you will learn like PATIENCE.just really missed the nbi aka thing like the cemar, coz before I got a cenomar without annotation, coz you need to inform the nso that your annulled. for me now I'm enjoying better here rather than opening fb.

its really good in here coz you will not be ashamed in telling im under AP. coz if you open this to your friends even with the families instead comforting words i hear...i hear them comparing my application to the other person. hubby said..it is what it is...all we need to do is to wait and be patient. its worth the waiting i know. although i have a 3 year old son who learned tagalog now ...my problem is when he talk to his dad they dont understand each other lol.
