4 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

I have lived in Kenya for 19 years, before I left last May I got police certificate. I know that certificate is valid for 1 year, but since i never went back and don't intend to, can I still use it?

Embassy in my country sad I could, but what about NVC? I won't have opportunity to make another one.

You should be able use it. If you haven't been there, then there is nothing to report in the period of time since you left.

from the NVC website:

Important: Police certificates expire after one year, unless the certificate was issued from your country of previous residence and you have not returned there since the police certificate was issued.
