"MRV Fee Payments"

8 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

I just scheduled my husband's interview online and I receive the confirmation ib my email. At the end part of it says, "MRV Fee Payment" and it has a barcode on it but it doesn't say any amount or whatsoever. What is that for? How much is it? When, where and how to pay it?

Thank you!

We had that as well.

Have you paid any fees for the Visa/Interview aside from the initial I-130 payment and the payments at SLEC?

We paid the fee on the day of the interview at the Embassy Cashier. Not sure if that applies to you specifically as we were an IR-1(DCF) visa.

MRV Fee= "Machine Readable Visa Fee"

Ours had no amount. But we were a DCF filing, so we had to pay the day of the interview since DCF filing skips the NVC step entirely.

Cost was $325

You won't pay anything because you already paid the fees at NVC.

Same case with ours. But i read i US traveldocs that the payment will be needed for k visas and non-immigrant visas.

Our case was expedited. Only the Aos fee was paid. So i guess payment will be made at the embassy :)

Question. How was the process in paying the fees, at what part of the interview at the embassy the payment will be made?
