My UK fiance (beneficiary) doesn't have a job

Hey all,

Just wondering if my fiance (UK beneficiary) being unemployed will be a problem for applying for the k-1 visa. I (US petitioner) have a job and we are going to have a co-sponsor (my mother). I am 18 and my fiance (UK citizen) is 19. He has been out of school for 3 years and not had a job yet. Will it hurt our chances if he has not had a job...he does have an inheritance coming at 25 if that helps at all. Please help! xx

If he is the beneficiary it does not matter if he is working or not. As long as the USC petitioner or a joint sponsor can meet the income requirement.

Nope. The petitioner has responsible for financial thing not the beneficiary. He should be just fine.
