Delays in CSCIS uploads to NVC

We received our NOA2 on August 1st, but since then CSCIS appears to have not uploaded many cases to NVC.

I've called NVC everyday since the 8th day and also sent an email with the attached NOA2 to NVCResearch@state.gov as their reply email asked to do if the wait has been more than two weeks. (It's almost a month now)

Question is, does CSCIS usually hold up the process and then flood NVC with weeks worth of files at once? It just appears an odd delay to what was a fast process for us.

It seems that the other centers are processing to NVC a little more regularly.

Not complaining. I know others have waited much longer.

Thanks...

We got our case number almost a month after NOA2. I know waiting sucks, but try to be a bit more patient, it'll come when you least expect it.

On October 2013, our I-129F Refused under 221(g)

So our son and I went back home to the PHL..

I was approved/received NOA2 last week (in 58 days!!) from the CSC and I gave it a week and called last night, was on hold for about 25 mins and when the lady answered (sounded miserable and tired..) she said the wait time for August approvals is 8+ weeks. So much for both of us getting NOA2 approval so fast... sad.png In the long run it appears everything will even out!

When they all about immigration reform I'm all for it. But they should reform the current process first before taking in new initiative because I would not want to be apart of it when they start adding new categories. Just imagine the delays then!!!!!!!

Standard letter they send everyone once approved. It is forwarded to NVC where they will generate a case number for you 2-3 weeks after approval. Then NVC sends to London. Once they send it to London you will get another letter stating they sent it to the embassy in London and London will contact you.

Hi Everyone.

Ceac just keeps on saying at NVC.

They received our file ( i-130) July 31st.

Had my Medical on August 21st in London.

Now still waiting for CEAC site to sy something different than AT NVC !!!

Getting frustrated as the end seems to be taking long time .

Thanks for replys. dancin5hr.gif
