I sponsored my wife's 14 yo daughter for a visa to be issued from Manila. My wife and daughter went to an interview at the US Embassy on June 6th 2012. CO requested a DNA test for my wife and step daughter. They only take DNA tests once a week at the US Embassy, so because there are a lot of people taking the test we were told that the soonest would be June 27. They got their test done, and the results were back by the 3rd of July. It is now July 24 and we have not heard anything. My wife was told that the DNA test was all that they needed. Does anyone know how long we can expect to wait for the visa? I was told that the DNA test was forwarded to the CO on the 11th of July. I'll appreciate any input. Thanks

we are in the same boat. This has to be the most frustrating process in the world. The buerocracy and red tape is out of control. Unless you have a porno of the act they want an expensive DNA test now. Delays everything by months.
