I 130 priority date

I received 1 NOA , it says my priority date is February 9, 2012. What does the priority date mean?

Not much at all for the spouse of a US Citizen. It means that's the date your petition officially entered the system and nothing more.

Oh, thanks for replying.

Heads up, USCIS CSC is currently processing filers from July 2011. So this means you should get NOA 2 in 5-6 months or some people get it sooner (the lucky ones), it depends on the volume of applicants for the month.

GOOD LUCK.
