A little late with reply....

On March 17th

My fiancee, Cynthia, had the same issue, smear was negative, but x-ray, they "think" they see something. So had to delay 8 weeks...

SLEC cancelled our initial interview scheduled for March 28th. I think around the 6th week or so...she went ahead and scheduled another interview for June 1  on her own :D

Had her interview today...and was granted Visa

Can you help me how can I schedule my mom's? I called them and they asked me for the clearance date from St. Lukes and I am positivethat she won't get a clearance date until the date she was asked to call them back which is 2mos ??? Let me know. Thanks..

My mom had to undergo sputum test too and was told to call them July 29. And I don't know if I should call the Manila Embassy to re-schedule it or St. Lukes will??? I am getting two answers and I don't know what to do. Can I call now and re-schedule it since the clearance will be issued on a given date? And please tell me the website where I need to go to do the re-scheduling. I cant afford calling them and waiting to be answered for a long time. Thank you so much......:no::D

You don't have to call the Embassy, St. Luke's will re-schedule your mom's interview after her medical is finished.

Your mother can also call St. Luke's for her culture result a week prior to the given date...

Good Luck!

There is no need to schedule an interview because no one knows when your mom will get clearance.

If her eight-week TB culture is positive, she won't be able to interview. Instead, she will need to undergo at least six months of treatment at St. Lukes. In that case, she will be able to schedule an interview after she finishes the six-month treatment.

When the time comes, your mom can ask St. Lukes to schedule her interview.

We made fiancee's USEM appointment online at the end of her dot. Then she was ready to interview after the one month final sputum wait.
