Hi Ekto...

No still no news on I-130@csc for Noa2 for PD July'09.

Still its 2-Jan-2009 for processing date and it will again change on 16-July-2010.. hoping next change will be atleast another 6 mths at CSC which will eventually cover my PD.

I am not really worried about VB now.. it's March'2009 and by the time I complete all docs communication with NVC definitely my PD will be current, most worried part is now approval of I-130..

Will be calling CSC once my date is current at CSC...

Hoping for the best and best luck to all...

USCIS to Process Many I-130 Petitions

©MurthyDotCom

The USCIS plans to adjudicate more than 500,000 pending I-130 petitions by the end of calendar year 2010. Thus, individuals who have filed these cases, many of them years earlier, may now need to ensure that their current addresses are in the system. They should watch for any mail regarding the case and track down their old paperwork.

yeah, that's what I'm worrying out too, the approval of I-130 from USCIS.

usually, nvc start to contact the applicant and beneficiary, 5 months before their priority dates will become current.

but how nvc will gonna contact us, if our files is still with the USCIS.

good luck to us my friend and hope that we can have our love ones join us as soon as possible.

Hi ekto and homer,

I was also hoping to have approval on my I-130 when my PD (Dec. 2006) became current in June Visa Bulletin. but unfortunately they have not approved my I-130 yet whereas my PD became current in June.

I made several inquiries, service request, info pass on my I-130 but they still asking me to wait..wait and wait...

This is so frustrating.

Hi Malvika,

I really understand you how frustrationg it is to wait...keep your hopes up...

Do one thing... try to followup with email.. put all your details in email wid proper format probably use excel.

Once you receive reply.. then again send reminder to usicis ppl using previous reply and reply again.. so they can trace all answers by them....

yes homer, I have been doing same things since last two months. I have been getting in touch with my service center (where my file is) via email. I have provided them whole story all the dates and stuff. I had also sent an email to USCIS Head Quarters but they forwarded that email to service center again requesting for resolution. Only thing I have been hearing from them is "They have requested my file and once they receive the file it will be assigned to an office for review".

I have been keeping my faith alive.

I don't understand why should I use excel to send them email. I just wrote it in hotmail screen and it appears fine. Please clarify.

Thanks for your concern.

Hi Malvika,

I suggested excel only for providing all petitioner and beneficiary details in a proper tabular format.

Write all your details in excel table then copy paste into email.

No need to send any attachment or excel file.

Definitely it's not compulsory but person who is viewing your email will find it easy to read it.

Thanks,

things are not that easy for LPRs since a lot of cases are approved and has been sent to nvc but they are not shoing in NVC. after inquiry NVC responding that the case sab been siting at LOS.

so PD role has gone to the toilet. my Pd is curent from june2010 and case was approved in april2010

but USCIS insisting that even i have revcived approval letter NOA2 but i got to wait because there is thousand of peoples in line.

after ypur case is approved it will not show at nvc for few months.

i hope this will change and every one be happy

Exactly, there is no meaning of PD for USCIS people these days. My PD was also current in June 2010. But they don't seem to prioritize the petitions based on PD. The only difference between yours and mine is your case is seating in LOS after approval of I-130 and mine is seating in TSC waiting for approval.

I also doubt NVC has much more cases to handle these days due to visa bulletin jumping too high, it might take longer than ever for NVC to complete the cases. Lets not hope so. But to meet with the current demand NVC must be doing something like adding extra hands.

Thanks,
