If it's like here, you can go pick it up yourself same day if you take the signed copy in. We took ours in and got 5 or 6 certified copies straight away... Good luck!

We got married in Sonoma County, California, at the clerk's office. It took twenty minutes to produce three certified copies. If you mail the license in after you get married elsewhere, it can take two to three weeks to process the clerk said.

we were married in san francisco and it took 10 business days to walk in and pick up certified copies at $13 a piece

we got married in Orange County,LA CA and it took two weeks(10 businnes days) for us to receive it via mail.

Thanks for your responces. We were married in Long beach and we filled out the forms and stuffed the envelope and stamped it for more than we were told to. And we put a check for two certified copies in tthere just incase. Then our wedding coordinator said she would send it off imediatly and take care of it for us and that we need not worry.

Now after seeing your experiences. We have just realized our check has not been cashed.

We have our customer copy with wet sigs and a photocopy of the one sent off do u think if it's been lost we can register it with those?

It wouldn't hurt to take a trip to the county hall of records, and make an inquiry. Good luck.

She insisted by text today it was posted on Monday the 13th April she couldn't give us more infomation but she would have guessed it would have been mailed Friday but we should check with the office we got it from. But at 6 pm Friday the check had at the very least not been cleared. The office is closed till Monday.

am really happy now, apparently the marriage has been recorded but the proper certificate wont be coming till 8 to 10 weeks after. but we can go get a certified copy on thursday. now we can try and get our aos stuff done..
