Hello. I'll be getting married in the US and right now me and fiance are processing my K1visa.

Of course i want my parents to be there. My fiance will shoulder the all the expenses for their trip. My parents have business here in Philippines and some properties. Do you think they'll stand a chance in getting a tourist visa? Please enlighten me with your insight. And if you have the same experience please do share. I would really appreciare it. Thank you😊

All they can do is try. Having business and properties does help show ties. They need to just prove to the CO they intend to return to the Philippines after their trip.

They really do not care why they are going, but also them being able to support their own trip with their own money would look even better.

They just need to go apply and see what happens.

Thank you so much. Yes, they can support the trip and  also my fiance would finance as well. Do you think a written invitation from my fiance is needed?

This is a common misconception in the Philippines because it is not needed and actually in some cases actually hurts if it is done. So an invitation letter is not advised at all. But if they apply and everything is as you say it is then it does look like that they are good candidates for a tourist visa.

Thanks for responding. We will just give it a shot. Guess we'll have to sort the things they needed to prove their strong ties here in Philippines.

That's pretty much all they can do and to bring proof such as properties and for their business as well.
