Are They Physically Working on My File? [split topic]

Hi there,

Hope i am in right area. question to who ever can answer. I submitted all docs and rec a checklist for a missing document. So, I sent in what they asked of me and now they confirmed they rec the mail last week and i called today and they said its under review, does this mean they are psychically working on my file? does it really take up to another 6 weeks to look at one document? thank you in advance to anyone that may know. its been almost two years since I've seen my husband come jan. everyday seems so long and hard. oh btw this is for N V C.

Remember your file isn't the only one they are "looking" at. Imagine the thousand of other cases being looked at. It takes time to get to yours. You had to rejoin the line when you sent in your checklist document.

Cateogory: CR1

  • NOA1/Notice of receipt: Sept. 15, 2015
  • NOA2/I130 Approved: February 8, 2016 (NO RFE) :)
  • Process slowed down by us
  • Sent documents to NVC: April 11, 2016
  • Scan date: April 14/ May 7th (NVC said both I dont know why)
  • Case Complete: May 31, 2016 (No checklist) :dancing:

August 17, 2016: Visa Approved!!!! :dancing:

Hi, I also got a checklist for one document. 5 weeks ago they received it so now I don't know if my case is gonna be send it to supervisor review after week 6. And start all over again ?
