Hi everyone...

I just filed my N-400 based on 5yr rule last month. I'm from Chicago (filed to Phoenix Lockbox)

Now due to job reason I am going to be relocating to Boston this July.

What do I do now? Will this be a problem?

March 29, 2005 - I-130 Recieived at CSC(NOA date: Mar. 31)
April 9, 2005 - AOS, EADmailed to Chicago Lock Box
April 11, 2005 - AOS, EADreceived at Chicago
April 14, 2005 - Notice date for both AOS and EAD
April 19, 2005 - Bio/Fingerprints done at ASC
May 11, 2005 - I-130 transfer to Chicago
June 1, 2005 - EADApproved
June 7, 2005 - EADarrived in the mail
June 23, 2005 - Received interview letter schedule for Aug 17
August 17, 2005 - AOS interview schedule in Los Angeles

Jan 2008 - Became PR

April 2016 - Applied for N-400

Hi everyone...

I just filed my N-400 based on 5yr rule last month. I'm from Chicago (filed to Phoenix Lockbox)

What do I do now? Fill out a Change of Address form. Will this be a problem? No.

05/21/16 - Received 2nd NOA (dated 05/16/16) confirming my DOB and address - Day 11

05/22/06 - Biometrics scheduled (online update) and appt letter was mailed on 05/20/16 - Day 12

05/24/06 - Biometrics letter became viewable online (appt scheduled for 06/07/16) - Day 14

05/27/16 - Received Biometrics letter in mail - Day 17

05/31/16 - Was denied walk-in fingerprints with just 1 person left in line. Milwaukee office, boo! - Day 21

06/07/16 - Biometrics completed in Milwaukee, WI - Day 28

12/21/16 - Passed Citizenship test/Interview was successful! - Day 197

01/26/17 - I am a US citizen!!! - Day 233

Since moving to Boston mean the file will have to be transfer to different office, and I keep reading about this 90days residence requirement before applying. That's kind of why I was worry.

You have to live in the same state for 3 months prior to applying.

No suck condition exists for the 3 months prior to the interview.

So if you lived for 3 months in Chicago before you applied, you already met this requirement.

Fill out an AR11 change of address form

AND

Update your address through your online account that you set up (or will set up) using the case number from your N400 receipt.
