Hello,

I am a US citizen who filed an I130 petition for my wife who is currently living in Morocco but I just find out that I made forgot to write NONE as an answer for the question below:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- - - -

-Former Husbands or Wives (if none, so state) - First Name - Date of birth -

-Family Name (For wife, give maiden name) - - (mm/dd/yyyy) -

- - ********** - -

- left it blank - - -

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wasn't married in the past but still I missed it I left it blank.

I am very nervous now and I called the USCIS but they told me that they cant do anything since they cant check and that I will have to wait and see if I will receive a notification!

Am I going to get an RFE for living it blank?

Maybe; but an REF isn't a big deal. Just provide them with what they ask for and keep moving forward.

It does slow it down, but it's just a road block, not a complete shutdown. I'm not sure how long they typically take, maybe a month total?

Probably not. You realize, don't you, that this issue is also addressed on the I-130 itself? How did you answer the similar question there? If answered correctly there, omission on the G325a definitely won't matter.
