Cruising on visitor visa

I'm inviting my boyfriend on a visitor visa and we would like to do a short cruise. Would it be a problem for him to get on and off boat at the ports? Would a cruise be possible? Has anyone done this before?

It really depends where you are going. A US Travel visa is really only good for traveling in the USA. It is not the same as a US passport.

A bit confusing as your profile shows a K1 from Germany. However, I would not plan anything ahead of time. VIsitor visas are difficult to obtain and the applicant must prove strong ties to home country, i.e., own property, employment, etc. Especially difficult for a single man from an African country.

I don't believe a visitors visa would allow him to travel on a cruise that leaves US territory. I would rule that idea out and stay within the USA borders.

Thanks that timeline is useless or should i say old. But thanks for your input. I think I'm ruling out that plan
