So this is my husbands 221g

I just noticed it says contact us every 2 months about the case

they make it sound like it will take years when they say every "2 months"

or is this 221g the same as most people get? or does this mean it will take a long time to issue a visa?

You are in AP and in Pakistan. It takes as long as it takes. Weeks to months to yes for some years. You might want to go to the Islamabad AP Tracker.
