K1 Expedite Request and texas service center

On 8/12/2014, I submitted an expedite request for my fiancee's I-129F to the texas service center. I received a mail on 8/26/14 from USCIS texas services center that my expedited request was granted and I should expect to hear from them for an approval. I waited until 9/02/14 and didn't hear any thing from these guys,so idecided to called the customer service number and an inquiry request was put in for me. On 9/6/14 I recived and email reply that stated I should hear from them within 10 days. I waited until 9/18/14 and still haven't heard any thing. Does it mean the Texas service center just give out time frame without really honouring them or this is just usual with expedited cases? Anyone with similar experience. Its more than a month for an expedited request to be approved.

Expedite or not, your case is beyond the normal processing time. Many Feb TSC filers have already received their NOA2 a month ago. Maybe there is a extensive background check on you/your fiance(e) at the moment. I think you need to call them and figure out why it is taking so long.

I would strongly suggest you making an infopass appointment and talk to a supervisor seems our expedite fell on deaf ears.

Our expedite was granted on 08/08/2014, it said we should have a decision in 10 days, got transferred to Cali on the same day and still waiting... fiance called USCIS tier 2 a few times, a bunch of people transferred with us already got their NOA2 , even those who filed after us. How this organization works is a mystery *sigh* Good luck!
