I sent my RFE packet last wednesday and delivered yesterday. Does USCIS update online status after that? How long? or How long should I wait before I hear response from them?

Timeline

01/30/2017 Biometrics
02/01/2017 Case in Line for Interview
08/04/2017 Interview Scheduled. Waiting for mail notice..

Hopefully not long, but it will depend on the quality of your response evidence. If, for some reason, they decide you require an interview (whether it's random, or your evidence wasn't enough in their opinion) it will depend on how busy your local office is.

Unfortunately, the all around answer is: it depends. But CSC is fairly fast, so it shouldn't take long if your evidence was good and it moves straight to approval. Most of the other June Filers have been approved from CSC, so they should get to you quickly.

I hope you get an approval soon! For us, we got our RFE notice in the mail on July 19th and we did not waste any time and mailed out the RFE reponses on July 20th.

So all these time I called million times but only one answer in every level, your case is under intial review exactly like the online status update. However, On 27th August online status changed to 'new card in production' wait 30 days otherwise call blah blah and on the same day I got a letter in the mail congratulating on approval. Basically you can never predict their timing but they have a policy or something that all the cases after RFE responses should be solved within 90 days.

Hope this helps and good luck!
