Cough during SLEC Medical Exam

Im sharing this experience to whoever finds this useful.

Initially, i thought of taking my medical exam on wednesday, aug 17. I set my flights to aug 16 night since i got work. I caught runny nose and cough monday. I was extremely annoyed with the timing. I was worried that it may affect my xray results and i will have to go through SPUTUM test. My cough was really bad. I was coughing every minute.

I tried to search for blogs and forums if it does affect the xray. It was mixed write ups with little to none who actually experienced it.

I decided to rest some more and took the exam thursday, aug 18. I was still coughing almost as bad. I just had strepsils to minimize coughing while taking the exam.

I got up this morning already formulating back up plans if i get 2months delayed. I went back to SLEC to find out that im good for immunization. ???

But, I have a very important business meeting to physically attend in Cebu on 04/04. I also have a business trip due in Japan for May 2016.

Glad to hear it went ok for you.

My Fiance also just took medical on 8/17 and 8/18 and she also came down with a cold and cough a few days before and made it through ok.

What day is your interview? Ours is 8/24.

thanks to God! I passed my medical exam today. I got 3 weeks of cough (bronchitis) before my interview. Pray hard VJers. St.luke's doctors are good, they knew how to differentiate TB from other lung related diseases. Goodluck to all.
