Hello!

We are also planning to go on a cruise to Bahamas. I have my Philippine passport with my maiden name and my green card with my married surname. To avoid any issues, if we purchase the ticket should i follow my passport or green card?

Chinook and I had the same question a few years ago. The cruise line told us that Chinook's ticket must be in her maiden name because that was the name on her passport. The cruise line also advised ua to take along a copy of our marriage certificate. We had no problem boarding the ship. As a matter of fact, we both got to check in using the foreigner's line, and it was much quicker. Bon voyage...!

P.S. Always verify with your cruise line because they are the one who decides whether you will be allowed to board the ship.

Just to add, your valid Phil. passport is who you are for traveling to foreign countries until you get another valid passport, US or Phil. The valid U.S. G.C. allows you to re-enter the US.

Have a great trip!
