No oath letter after 2+ months

Hello,

My spouse passed the citizenship interview a little over 2 months ago and we were told to expect an oath letter in 5 weeks, but haven't received anything yet. As I normally turn to VJ when things seem a little off, I just wanted to ask if this was normal in other people's experiences or if there is some kind of action I should take.

Any help is appreciated. Good luck to everyone.

You should make an infopass appointment at the field office where the interview was conducted as soon as possible.

Did your Case Status get updated from the USCIS website? Normally that's where the IO checks first when you come for an InfoPass appointment. I believe USCIS has to respond within a certain amount of days .

Personal Timeline

N400 JOURNEY

2015/05/02 - sent N-400 packet to USCIS [Day 0] (Saturday mail)

2015/05/12 - check cashed [Day 10]
2015/05/15 - I-797C NOA received [Day 13]

2015/06/01 - biometrics appointment [Day 29]

2015/09/10 - interview appointment [Day 131] - pending N-14 add'l evidence req'd

2015/11/17 - oath taking [Day 169]

GC/ROC JOURNEY

The last update is from June 1st saying that an interview was scheduled. I figure I'll call and see what they say (nothing useful, from past experience) and then make an InfoPass appointment, although the option I would check states:

"Case Services follow-up appointment - If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment."

Does that mean I need to wait 45 days after being told to wait by the NCSC to make an appointment?

I just called the NCSC and was told that USCIS is allowed 120 days to sort out the oath ceremony letter, and after 90 days of not receiving anything I have reason to call back and request they "look into it". I'll hit the 90-day mark in 5 days, so I'll see what happens then.

I know this is a long time ago but im in the same situation did you get hes oath?

It took a long time, but we eventually did. We got an oath ceremony letter for a date in February, but we weren't able to make it, so asked for it to be rescheduled. This was a mistake, as the next oath ceremony we got was in September. It's just a lot of waiting, USCIS is terrible.
