HELP! How to fill out form 1-134 affidavit of Suppor while unemployed?

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to fill out the i-134 form and not sure what to put under question 7 and 11. I am currently unemployed because I have graduated recently. i am activelly looking for work but it has been though. I was also a student for the past 3 years so my fiance's aunt and husband are going to co-sponsor us.

Not sure if I should just put Unemployed under questions 7 or is there something else I can write down that will make it not look so bad? Also, under number 11 not sure what to put as I live with my parents.

You need to just put the truth. Unemployed. 0 income.

It does not look bad if you have a co-sponsor. And you yourself know you are actively trying to find a job.

In the interview if they ask her why you are unemployed she can respond with you have just finished school and are actively looking for a job

To answer you question, London wants a K1 sponsor. They aren't too concerned about who it is. They even allow the beneficiary to self-sponsor with their own UK assets. They have accepted a relative's I-134 with nothing from the actual fiancé. The law is not specific on the fiancé visa and I-134. It says the officer must be convinced that the applicant is not likely to become a public charge in the US.

So it seems that at London, a fiance's proof of no income is pretty useless to convince them. So provide the aunt's Affidavit of Support and don't worry about what is on yours (if you even do one). This link might give you some more information http://london.usembassy.gov/faffidavit.html

Hi! I have a question. My fiancé has 2 daughters that will not be coming with him; however I'm sure they will eventually want to come to live or just visit. Do I need to put their names on the I-134 form if they are not coming? I did place their names on the initial k-1 visa application
