Over 10 days after approved vIsa interview in GZ

Just wanted to give you guys an update --- about two weeks after my fiance's interview, she received a call from the GZ consulate saying that her visa was successfully processed and was mailed out a week ago but was returned to the consulate because it could not delivered to her address. (Even though checks using her EMS tracking number both via calling & online showed that her package wasn't sent out or even in the EMS system for that matter)

Anyhow, she opted to pick up her visa in person in GZ as she was already in the area. The GZ post office called her a few days later to tell her which post office to pick up her visa (apparently there are a few post offices that disseminate visas for the consulate). 2 days later, she successfully picked up her visa! Before arriving in the US, the consulate also asked her to prepare x-rays of herself to provide to immigration when she arrives. 2 days later she arrived in the US!! --- (although, interestingly, they didn't ask for her xrays).

I'd like to thank all of you for all your support throughout this uncertain process. One lesson that I learned was that this process ain't over until your fiance arrives in person. Approvals after interviews, receiving of visas, etc are all ticks in the process, but technically your fiance can be turned down or delayed at any time for any reason (be it via the consulate, immigration, etc) before she arrives.
