Hi everyone,

We need to request a Saudi police certificate for my husband, a German national who worked there for 3 years. We're having trouble getting started. We've contacted his old HR department without much luck. Can anyone tell us who we should contact?

Thanks!!

Saudi Arabia They do not issue such certificate. Temporary residents (Muslims only) currently living in Saudi Arabia can obtain police certificates. Saudi Arabian police certificates are NOT AVAILABLE to all other temporary residents, including those who have previously been temporarily resident in Saudi Arabia.

I recommend your husband contact the Saudi Embassy in Washington DC they probably will help him with that.I saw two people that submitted the PC request to Saudi Arabia Embassy in Washington and they got it. If the Saudi Embassy decided no to help then ask them the list showing that Saudi Arabia do not issue police certificate for non residents, or your husband can contact the US Consulate in Saudi Arabia they probably have some memorandum stating that Saudi Arabia do not issue police certificate for non residents as well, once you husband gets some document saying that Saudi Arabia do not issue PC the USCIS will waive the PC (he has submit a request letter and justify his request).

Others Countries do not issue police certificate as well like Syria, United Arab Emirates, Yemen.

MY advice For non residents living in Saudi Arabia and planning to leave Saudi Arabia soon get the PC before leaving. Go to Ministry of Exterior Saudi (Near Nasriya police station after the Salahia Computer market ),and after go to the Ministry of Exterior go to Deera police station.

Thank you!! This is a huge help! We weren't getting anywhere and I was starting to get upset! One less worry. I will try to get an official letter saying that we can't get a police record just so I feel I'm covered!

Thanks again!!
