AOS Interview - children birth certificates

I received today interview notice for my AOS (fairly quick - sent on Sept 19th, walk-in bio on Oct4th) and it states something like "if you have children, bring their birth certificates".

Now, do I need to have this if they are not immigrating / adjusting status with me ? Have copies (or actually scans) but getting originals may be difficult...

Anybody has any input on this ?

Proof at AOS ? that would mean US born citizens children with your US husband for AOS interview proof.

It exactly says (I am non-US citizen husband) :

- If you have children, bring a Birth Certificate of each of your children - obviously addressed to me.

Below there is a section saying that if eligibility is based on your marriage, than I need to bring spouse, her birth certificate and birth certificate of all children born out of this marriage.

Were they immigrating with you ? And were those certificates looked at during interview ?

No they are all US citizens.She asked for them and looked at them all. She also wanted to look at my sons death certificate.
