I'm currently located in the US and I was wondering if anyone knows a shipping company that ships from the Philippines to Seattle? I've got a 130 lb, 24x18x24 box I need to get to Seattle from Manila.

I found a bunch of companies that do the reverse, but virtually none that do what I need. Please help!

Depends on how much you want to spend and how long you want to wait for delivery. LBC does a slow boat cheap rate to send heavy boxes. http://www.lbcexpress.com/contents/USA/

Then besides that, all the big carriers ship to PI (Fedex, UPS, DHL)...but for 130lbs.... ooooowee that will cost. :crying:

Best to do a Balikbayan box through LBC.. takes about 6 weeks.

Unfortunately, they told me they only ship documents from Manila to Seattle. Thanks for the suggestions though!

My wife has shipped balikbayan boxes (textbooks) from Philippines to Atlanta, GA and Dublin, Ireland using the regular postal mail.

It took about 10 weeks, but it is the cheapest, IIRC. Might be an option, if you're not in a hurry.

Have you tried calling their Washington State office? 983-9686 I just did an LBC online quote to ship a Balikbayan Box from Seattle to Manila for $65, box size is 24x18x18.

Shoot....I didn't realize you were shipping "from" Manila....sorry bout that... That's different because it has to go into US Customs. Lots of big carriers don't want to assume too much liability shipping from other countries into US. And most people are shipping care packages to Phil.

  • I'm trying and would like to have my friend in the Philippines send me 10 to 15 cartons of cigarettes to me here in the usa. There seems to be some problems in this, that may be prohibited to do so, as she tells me over there...... as I understand. they are so much cheaper over there, is why I am asking...how can I accomplish this shipping from there, and is there any way around it, I mean, well, any info and ideas would be much appreciated, thanks!!

Please start a new thread from the main page of the forum. This thread is more than 5 years old.

About the cigarettes. Why!!!

You have custom payments out of the Phil, and then when it arrives in the US. Then you have taxes that you must pay. You have expensive shipping charges. By the time it arrives you haven't saved anything.

Try a Google search as it has been discussed before.
