Consulate Review Jan 9, 2009
My interview was held on Dec 22 2008. I was told all was good and they will put on Administrative Processing. I was told that it will take 4 to 6 weeks and some take longer but they not give a time. They also kept my passport.
My wife visited to Embassy 3 weeks later and asked about our case status. She was told that all cases that go in AP are sent back to USA, where the processing is done. She was told it is taking on an average of 2 months to go thru processing. They gave her a number to call in USA to asked about case status.
