Comments : Everything good with our interview. Sadly our case was put under administrative review since had to perform further exams for the medical. Questions were: Where do you meet her? What was she doing where she was in Peru? Where does she lived? What she does for a living? Have I been in the US before? If we had any plans once I get into the US?

Event Description

Embassy Review : Everything good with our interview. The petitioner was allowed to get inside of the embassy just by showing her passport. NO}o phones or anything allowed inside the embassy, they have a service that costs 10 soles for small sealed bags and 20 for the bigger ones. Sadly our case was put under administrative review since had to perform further exams for the medical exam. Questions were: Where do you meet her? What was she doing where she was in Peru? Where does she lived? What she does for a living? Have I been in the US before? If we had any plans once I get into the US? Overall the officer that interview us was fairly friendly and even made some small talk about my fiance studying in the same city that she did.

Documents (for K1 visa especificaly) that they asked for at the moment of approaching the window for the first time:

-Partida de nacimiento certificada por RENIEC (Birth certificate certified by RENIEC)
-Antecedentes policiales, penales y judiciales. (Police, criminal and judicial records)
-Antecedentes policiales de cualquier pais en el que se haya vivido por mas de 6 meses despues de los 16 años. (Police records from any country in which you have lived for more than 6 months after the age of 16.)
-Documentos financieros I-134 con firma (I-134 financial document signed)
-Documentos financieros 1040 2020 en adelante (1040 financial documents 2020 onwards) (They only took the most recent one for 2021 in our case)
-Documentos financieros W2's 2020 en adelante (W2 financial documents 2020 onwards) (They only took the most recent one for 2021 in our case)
-IRS Tax return transcript
-Waiver (Si aplica) (If applicable)
-Examen medico en sobre cerrado (si fue entregado) Medical examination in a sealed envelope (if delivered)
-Copia de pasaporte del peticionario (Copy of petitioner's passport)

Opcional:

-Los 2 talonarios de pago mas recientes (The most recents 2 paystubs) (Since we did not have the recent IRS Tax return transcript.)
-Copias de todo por si acaso (Copies of everything just in case)
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
