Yes, I’m with @Best. I tried the traveldocs website. I tried email and their phone number also doesn’t work, go figure 🤣. How were able to book an interview date?

We all are wondering lol

For anyone wondering, looks like the embassy for this couple is france and not Nigeria

I'm just seeing all these comments. Yes our embassy is France. However I was able to estimate when we would get an interview date by using VJ's timeline feature by comparing when other couples who were interviewing through France received their NOA2 and their interview date -- specifically in 2022. For France it's been a 4 month window between the NOA2 and interview. You should be able to do the same those filing through Nigeria. Wishing everyone blessings and good luck! ❤️🙏🏾❤️

Hi EllenC .. I'm also waiting for NOA2 filed in April 2022, guess NOA2 will be May or June Embassy is in France. Can you share the experience at the embassy. Also Nigerian

@Lukeno2007 Sure. Happy to help! :) Our appointment was at 8:45a. When we arrived there were several others waiting in line to go through security. You'll line up across the street from the embassy (Plan your attire ahead for the weather. It was very cold!) You'll go through security and be screened three times. Once through general security which includes a bag check and metal detector wanding. Then you'll be directed to the first check-in point which is outside the embassy. A rep will ask and check if you have your documents ready for submission. You'll also receive a ticket serving as your appointment number. Before entering the embassy, there will be another security check point where you'll turn in your electronics (cell phone, smart devices, etc.) You'll then enter the embassy. Once inside you'll be directed to the upstairs waiting room. They'll call your number and you'll meet with a second rep at one of the customer service window. You'll submit your documentation for review. If anything is missing, you'll need to explain. You'll then be directed to the ground floor waiting room to await interview. When your called for interview, you'll go back to the upstairs waiting room. The interview will take place at one of the customer service windows. Our interview took less than 10 mins. My fiance was asked if he submitted the required forms: birth certificate, copy of the DS-160/receipt, passport, the medical form, police reports (for any countries he resided in), and my affidavit request to extend the NOA2 (Our NOA2 expired on 10/31). The embassy also required a new Intent to Marry letter from the petitioner (which I hand wrote during the interview and provided to the interviewer.**Please ask your fiance/petitioner to prepare the letter in advance. The interview instructions don't include anything about an updated ITM statement. Questions- We were asked the following: My fiance's name, DOB, & address Has he lived in any other countries? When? What he does for work? When did we meet? How we met? How long we have dated? My (name) and address? Where we intend to live after the visa is issued? Do we intend to marry within 90 days of my fiance entering the US? Why my fiance's medical forms weren't submitted? (He was missing one of the vaccinations.) The interviewer told us he had approved the visa pending the medical submission. He also confirmed that he extended our NOA2 for an additional 3 months. From arrival to interview, we were at the embassy for 90 mins. I recommend having your fiance/petitioner attend if they can. Our interviewer was American (from Denver) and he said that our interview would be "easy" because I was present (I assume it demonstrated the validity of our relationship. We also didn't realize we were in the interview until we had answered some of his questions. (We assumed my fiance would be taken into a private room -- not the case.) Since the interview took place at the kiosk I participated and answered some of the questions. The interview was casual and conversational (we laughed a few times with the interviewer)... we are very THANKFUL!!! My fiance's medical form was submitted by the doctor to USCIS this morning so we hope to receive confirmation of the visa approval in a few weeks. Good luck!!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
