Went for CR1 interview. The process was very fast, not a long wait. Husband left concerned because he said the officer was very rude and he said he’d be surprised if his application was approved. No one told him one way or the other, but they took his passport and told him to pick it up the following week. When I checked online the same day, the visa status had been changed to “issued.†Tough interviewer but ultimately he was approved so we’re happy |

Timeline Comments: 4Hello Congrats and I wonder why the officer was surprised about the application approval ? any age gap ?
Thanks! The officer wasn’t surprised; my husband was surprised because the officer spoke rudely to him at times/made rude comments. No age gap but we’ve both been married once before (me to a Tunisian and him to a European). She also didn’t want to see any “evidence†like pictures or anything, but we do have a baby together and practically live together.
Aha, i see yes my wife been married to US man and i have been married to European woman since 7 years ago
we have an age gap she is older 12 years than i do seems a hard situation, but we met since 6 years ago with a plenty of evidences
Congrats again
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
