We had 30 days to get the paperwork from Nigeria but it was a slow process and missed the 30 days cut off time. I didn’t realize that we could have requested a extension. Lesson learned. We have married and filed our I-130 Processing Estimates/Stats : Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between May 7, 2023 and August 4, 2023* (RFEs at the Potomac Service Center typically add an extra 14 days, which has been added to the estimated processing time). If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline.
