Comments : Called to inquire on our expedite request on June 26th, and our case had not been touched at all. Officer within Tier 2 submitted a service ticket on our case, and she gave me the email address to submit my own email to them as well. I received 2 emails: 1st email said I will have to wait until 15 days after the 60 day wait time to hear on our case, and 2nd email said we need to wait another 60 days past the original 60 day wait time (this bring us into the normal processing times for our case). I found an application that we meet the criteria on, called Military Parole in Place, for spouses for MIL veterans who are outside the US to be united with their USC spouses due to their MIL service. I completed the application, attached the I-130/approval/evidence as well as the requested financial documents AND 3 years worth of tax returns from myself, being the sponsor. Made appointment at local service center, rep was surprised at how well organized the application was and the amount of detail I included, however being in Tucson, they don't ever handle a spouse who is going about it "legally" so after he asked his supervisor twice, I was denied and was told to ask my local political rep to submit a status request on my I-130 Expedite. I left the office and sent my MPIP package to Texas via the Phx lockbox in UPS overnight.

Next step will be to request a 6 month tourist visa for my husband so that he will be here to support me while we are awaiting the I-130 to be adjudicated, and hopefully adjust his status once that goes to the NVC.

Expedite request sent on 23Apr18, to Texas Service Center via email from immigration attorney regarding my health and financial situation and the need for my spouse to join me in a quicker fashion. Expedite request was approved via email to my attorney on 26Apr18 and we were told in the email we will receive a response on the adjudication within 60 days.

Didn't edit this when he got approved! Got excited and forgot! He entered the US Oct 24 2019. We just mailed his removal of conditions on September 12th 2020, and I saw they deposited our check so we should be throhgh that step and then next will be naturalization!

Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between March 20, 2019 and March 22, 2019*.

If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
