Visa Received : 2017-08-23
US Entry : 2017-09-14
Marriage : 2017-10-28
Comments : Original Date to enter US was 2017-09-02. But because of typographical error on K1 visa, we were held back 2 more weeks. This includes changing all plane tickets that cost $$$$ to change booking last minute for 3; also cost $$$$ for missing work hours etc. US Consulate in Manila managed to send corrected Visa in about 4 business days. That month from August- September was bad, almost all Mondays were Philippine Holiday.

Event Description

Embassy Review : Our experience was very memorable. We were interviewed for about 15 minutes but felt like longer than an hour. After looking through all our submitted documents, when I said "all" meaning everything. When we were asked what other documents we can give him, I answered "What documents you need because I have everything here with us." We literally wheeled 2 handcarry sized bags. After the interview, I asked him, when will they mail my wife and child's PRCs, he said wait for 4-5 business day. And it did!
Harassment Level : Very Good

Hi mary! Just wanna ask if you have already tried to follow up the status of your EAD? Since based on the timeline, your application is already beyond processing time. Thanks!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
